Goran Bregovic Wedding And Funeral Band

Southeast Europe is somewhat of a mystery to those of us in Central Europe, however Serbian musician Goran Begovic with his Wedding and Funeral Band and the Greek bard George Dalaras promise to open our ears with their music and unlock part of that mystery. Bregovic became known in Emir Kusturica’s films and Dalaras worked with «Zorba the Greek» composer Mikis Theodorakis. The wild horns of the Balkans and the melancholy songs of Greece may come from another world, but they speak a universal language that plucks at our heartstrings.
