An evening of feel good music. In the best tradition of groovy jazz, funk and Motown soul. In the foreground, two singers who touch our hearts with their powerful soul voices.
One is N’Dea Davenport, the front woman of the British cult band The Brand New Heavies, who founded the Acid Jazz movement and who number amongst the best live bands of this genre. After a six year hiatus, the band, which took the international charts by storm in the 90s with hits like «Dream on Dreamer», «Never Stop», «You are the Universe» returns in its original line-up.
The second chartbuster of the evening is American soul lady Kelly Rowland. As a member of Destiny’s Child, the most successful female pop trio of all times, she attained extraordinary hit parade success. For the last few years, she has proven that she is a versatile musician and singer, who will firmly establish the theme of funky grooves this evening with her multi-faceted voice.
