JOHANNES OERDING &
Dabu Fantastic
TUE, 28. OCT 2025, 8 PM | VOM LEBEN UND DER LIEBE
From heart to heart, from note to note. Two ways of telling about love – two languages, one theme. Johannes Oerding and Dabu Fantastic demonstrate how different closeness can sound. Oerding is one of Germany’s most successful singer-songwriters. His albums have gone gold and platinum, his songs are played everywhere but remain down-to-earth. «Alles brennt» tells of heartache and breakup, «Kreise» of feelings that always catch up on us, «An guten Tagen» of small pleasures. Direct images, unadulterated, straight from the heart.
Dabu Fantastic respond in dialect, sharp, cryptic, garnished with a generous portion of raw street cred. «Angelina» and «Ciao Baby, Ciao» revolve around relationships with laconic humour. «Nomal so ne Nacht» and «Liebi passiert» blend the everyday with groove, while «Nach em Chrieg» shows that they can also formulate a clear stance.
An evening that appeals to the heart without descending into cliches. Two voices, two viewpoints – taken together they deliver a lasting resonance.

On 28 October, Johannes Oerding will now be appearing at the Baloise Session as a replacement for Max Herre & Joy Denalane, who have had to cancel their appearance due to health reasons. The Baloise Session Team is delighted to have received Johannes Oerding's confirmation at such short notice, and warmly thanks the German singer-songwriter and his team for their flexibility and spontaneity.
The concert on the evening will start as scheduled with Dabu Fantastic. Johannes Oerding will then take the stage as the second act. As already announced, all tickets already sold will remain valid.
We thank our public and our partners for their support and their understanding for this change in programme.
The entire festival team wishes Max Herre all the best and, above all, a rapid and full recovery, and publishes below the personal message from Max to his fans:
Dear All,
This message is absolutely not easy for me to formulate: With a heavy heart, we have to cancel all schedule MAX&JOY concerts until the end of the year. Sadly, my health situation does not permit me to perform for you on stage with Joy and our wonderful band. My doctor has made it clear to me how important it is that I take a break in my current me, in order to regain my strength.
I am incredibly sorry to everyone who was looking forward to the concerts and had planned accordingly.
It really means a lot to Joy and myself, and I hope to return to the stage in the new year and celebrate with you.
Thank you for your understanding and the touching messages I have received.
Stay healthy!
All the best,
Your Max ♥️
