A festival edition full of musical highlights draws to a successful close

Last night, the Baloise Session 2023 closed its doors with a spectacular final concert featuring Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds and Richard Hawley. Over ten concert evenings the Event Hall of Basel Fair was transformed into a concert hall with an intimate club-like setting, in which stars such as Jessie J, Passenger, Freya Ridings, Asaf Avidan and Worakls Orchestra wowed the audience with unforgettable performances. This year’s festival attracted 15,500 visitors with 100% sell-out.

Baloise Session and ARTE Concert bring music fans live music directly to their homes in 2023

Live-streams of the concerts by UB40 and Richard Hawley plus further performances as VOD

The Baloise Session will soon be coming to a close, but that doesn’t mean an end to musical enjoyment. This year, too, ARTE Concert presents music fans around the world with selected concert highlights from this year’s festival as Video on Demand, plus two live streams!

Baloise Session and Baloise extend their sponsoring partnership until 2029

The Baloise Session music festival is delighted to announce that the contract with its Presenting Sponsor, the Baloise insurance and financial services provider, has been extended for another four years until 2029. The partnership has existed for 25 years, and the Presenting Sponsorship since 2013. The continuation of this partnership underscores the shared commitment to promote music and the vision of creating unforgettable experiences for music enthusiasts.

Baloise Session 2023: A Musical Feast

Tomorrow evening the Baloise Session stage comes alive once more! From 21 October to 9 November, music fans will be flocking to Basel to experience their favourite musicians up close. In the intimate clublike setting by candlelight, music greats such as Freya Ridings, Jessie J, Ellie Goulding, Eurythmics Songbook featuring Dave Stewart and Noel Gallagher´s High Flying Birds will be celebrating the versatility of music.

Baloise Session 2023 – Musical encounters in Basel!

It gives us great pleasure to present this year’s Baloise Session line-up.

From 21 October to 9 November, the unique club-like setting of the Baloise Session brings together a wide range of genres from modern music culture that are as varied as the people that make up the audience. Thrilling hip-hop acts, life-chronicling singer-songwriters, electronic tone wizards, fascinating wonder voices, touching soul artists, breezy reggae acts, musical innovators and gifted guitar maestros.
