NILE RODGERS & CHIC
Mon, 19. Oct 2026, 9.45 PM | HITMASTERS
Event Halle Messe Basel
Two eras, one common thread: the irresistible song. Nile Rodgers & CHIC and Rick Astley stand for music that grooves and moves millions. Nile Rodgers is a living legend. With the band CHIC and as a producer for many global stars, he has shaped the sound of the last 50 years with hits such as ‘Le Freak’. Rick Astley is one of Britain’s best-known pop artists: 40 million records sold, eight Top 10 singles, a Brit Award, acclaimed performances at legendary festivals like Glastonbury – and ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’ with over a billion Spotify streams. This evening celebrates two masters of the hit – Rodgers as an influential producer, Astley as a baritone with a feel for the beat. A meeting of two groove giants.
