Alvaro Soler speaks six languages and at the age of 19 he formed his first band, «Urban Lights». When he started his solo career in 2014, his single «El mismo sol» became a huge hit. This success was followed by countless other songs that reached gold and platinum status and racked up billions of streams. With his music he continually succeeds in bringing summer to the hearts of his fans, irrespective of the season. Born in Medellin, Loco Escrito grew up in Wetzikon and is now one of Switzerland's most successful artists. His varied cultural background lends his music a unique blend of Columbian flair, lust for life and affinity. As an artist, he radiates confidence and a contagious positive attitude. For the Baloise Session, he presents his hits in a new salsa guise, supported by the Latino band Mercadonegro. An evening full of exhilarating earworms that instil pure joie de vivre.
