Raphael Saadiq
Thu, 17. Oct 2019, 8 PM | SOUL & BLUES TRAIN
Rag’n’Bone Man, a cardigan-clad giant from a village in the south of England, and Raphael Saadiq, a slim black American intellectual. Yet both had a troubled youth and both have made their way with the aid of music. Rag’n’Bone Man became the powerfully-voiced singer of his own songs, while Saadiq went on to become one of the most successful producers of black pop music. Rag’n’Bone Man and Raphael Saadiq are ambassadors for a more humane world and remind us of our own responsibility. They do it by means of music, with lyrical passion, soul, blues and groovy beats.
