Independent, fresh, unused: that's the motto for this evening which has contributions from both sides of the Atlantic. Walking On Cars wrote their guitar-dominated songs in the little town of Dingle on the west coast of Ireland. Their Hit song «Speeding Cars» launched a veritable tidal wave that took the down-to-earth and affable band to lots of major festivals. Powerful voice, ukulele at the ready, an unruly mop of hair: The talented songwriter LP from New York began her career writing songs for other artistes such as Rihanna, Cher and Christina Aguilera. Now launched on a solo career, she enthralls millions with songs like «Lost On You».
