The concept is based on concerts given in a small, intimate setting: a tradition the BALOISE SESSION has been following for years. That’s why Tim Bendzko is such a perfect fit this year in Basel, with his expressive German pop. The same goes for Max Giesinger, whose top hit celebrates an everyday heroine who escapes the drudgery of a 50-hour working week and motherhood by dancing. The new German songs tell of broken heroes with strength of character. Bendzko and Giesinger give them a voice.
