The Icelandic music scene is gaining cult status, so it's high time to showcase this country in the Far North with two of its best acts: rising young band Kaleo takes the passion of blues and rock and interprets it in a typically Nordic way. The quartet made its international breakthrough with its second album «A/B», produced last year. Reykjavik-born Ásgeir also has two albums under his belt, and the 25-year-old singer’s new album «Afterglow» is a mesmerising mix of other-worldly folk-pop and expressive vocals coloured with idiosyncratic, quirky timbres. Typically Icelandic!
