He is famous for his grim scowl; they are known for their brightly coloured, flamboyant costumes. Both have a cult following and are not quite the way they seem. Iggy Pop is not a tough American punk rocker; he is a gentle and thoughtful music poet. The Norwegian ladies of Katzenjammer are not four wacky clowns, but rather brilliant musicians with a mastery of an enormous range of music genres. It’s a piece of luck that they will join forces at the BALOISE SESSION, making an evening possible that credibly covers the entire music spectrum from punk to folklore.
