Charles Bradley and his Extraordinaires
Tue, 04. Nov 2014, 8 PM | URBAN HYMNS
Wyclef Jean and Charles Bradley tell us stories from the big city. Wyclef recounts tales of his life after the Fugees and of nearly becoming the president of Haiti. To date, he has had hits with over one hundred guest musicians. Charles reports on his ups and downs as a travelling cook and James Brown impersonator. Jean has oscillated brilliantly between rap and reggae, dominating the international charts at will. Bradley has only just now released his debut album at the age of 62, bringing us the pure essence of deep soul. They both show us that although life in the city is tough, it gives rise to intense music.
