Aimee Mann had already mastered all of Neil Young’s songs when she was a teenager. Now a musician with her own record label, this American singer has long become his female counterpart: a bit rough around the edges, but lovable and most of all, a brilliant, wonderful songwriter. Chris Cornell, singer and songwriter of Soundgarden, was once the voice of the grunge movement. He sang with Temple of the Dog and Audioslave, and in the meantime, Soundgarden has reunited. But the true power of his voice and his songs can only be truly expressed when he performs solo and unplugged. There is nothing better than homemade songs.
