The life of Mary J. Blige is the story of an angry rapper from the Bronx who became a world class R&B singer. These days this native New Yorker is 39 years old and is a diva in the best sense of the word: experienced and enlightened and like Mary herself, her music shows true greatness and style. This development can be traced over the history of her previous albums and it reaches its peak in her opus «Stronger With Every Tear». In contrast, the Swiss soul singer Jones relies solely on his light-footed R&B with funky undertones. On both of his albums to date, he wrote and recorded all of the songs himself.
