Razorlight
Tue, 26. Oct 2010, 8 PM | FROM THEN TIL NOW
As the lead singer and mastermind of the Kinks, Ray Davies defined Britpop in the sixties. As a soloist, he is still a critical mirror of English society and a divine storyteller. His influence on British music culture continues with Razorlight, one of today’s best Britpop bands. Before he founded Razorlight, bandleader Johnny Borrell was the bass player with The Libertines who themselves emulated The Kinks. Ray Davies and Razorlight sharing the stage on the same night can only mean one thing: kinks every which way.
