George Clinton Parliament Funkadelic
Thu, 12. Nov 2009, 9.15 PM | GET THE PARTY STARTED
Not Bill – George Clinton is the greatest: his enthralling yet playful P-funk has made him the most important groovemaster since James Brown. «Beweg di» («Move») is also the motto of the young reggae poet Elijah and his «Dubby Conquerors» from Zurich. A science fiction spectacle and an outrageous sense humour: as the founder of the mythical double formation Parliament/Funkadelic, George Clinton has attained the status of a musical satirist à la Frank Zappa: He is both the inventor and the court jester of an alternative funk universe.
