With New York singer-songwriter Suzanne Vega and the UK a cappella group the “Flying Pickets”, the opening night 2007 features more than just two big names from the 80’s. The sensitive folk poet and the pioneers of the a cappella movement guarantee gripping song artistry of the finest. We’ve all heard “Luca”, “Tom’s Diner” and Suzanne Vega’s other classics, but on “Beauty & Crime”, she surprises us once again with innovative sounds and unconventional lyrics.
The Pickets continue to delight us with their refined five-part harmonies.
