Jazz is fun! Three bands – one from Switzerland, one from Germany and one from France – with just one aim: to entertain! Their music is intended to set fingers snapping, toes tapping and faces smiling. The Barrelhouse Jazzband from Frankfurt has been swinging for half a century, while Buddha’s Gamblers have been doing it for almost half as long. The two bands specialize in a mixture of swing and Dixie. Les Gigolos, from Paris, take their name from Louis Prima’s hit song, and the Jump’n’Jive music of the two Louis – Prima and Jordan – is their trademark.
