The concert of the festival year 1999 which was sold out the fastest was Dänny Tobler’s traditional Jazz evening. In 2000, he dedicated himself to Dixieland and was able to sign on one of the most famous and successful formations, the Dutch Swing College.
The highlight of the evening were the «Swiss Dixie All Stars ».Eight Swiss musicians, all of them bandleaders, got together for this once in a lifetime concert summit after special rehearsals: Alex Felix, Jürg Morgentaler, Hans Meier, Ernst Gerber, Jean Bionda, Carlo Capello, Isla Eckinger, Peter Schmidli. They were all guarantors for the Dixie-Highlight in 2000.
