Country? Americana? Singer-songwriter? In the case of Kris Kristofferson and Rosanne Cash, any attempt at classification is superfluous: the great songwriter and the daughter of Johnny Cash take us on a Grand Tour through all of America’s musical landscapes. Kris and Rosanne both have their roots in folk and country music traditions and in their commitment to a more humane future. They also share a link to the godfather of country music: Johnny Cash. Kristofferson supplied him with some of his best songs (i.e.«Sunday Mornin‘ Comin‘ Down») and, more and more, Rosanne has attained an independent profile as the guardian of his legacy.
