The Brown sisters grew up in a staunchly religious family which was deeply rooted in the Chicago gospel churches. During many a church performance as small girls they already formed strong gospel voices. Soon these attracted attention outside their own community. Tina Brown became the leader and guided the sister trio to career highlights such as their performance during Bill Clinton’s presidential campaign. The warm and melodious singing is infused with blues and tickled the taste buds of the appreciative Basel gospel fans.
