The alto and soprano saxophonist Steve Coleman went to the school of hard knocks in his work with Thad Jones & Dizzy Gillespie. The native of Chicago created a completely new music genre with his  «Five Elements», synthesizing funk, rap and jazz music. Opening for Steve Coleman were Women in Jazz.
